What is the difference between Web Hosting and VPS?
Web Hosting is a shared hosting environment with all software and services on the server side being handled by us. You get access to a control panel where you can simply upload your website files, setup any databases, and add email accounts as needed. Everything "just works" and there is no coding or server administration knowledge needed, aside from knowing how to setup your website itself. VPS hosting is entirely unmanaged - that is - it comes as a raw virtualized server environment with full root access. From there you will need to setup and administer your own software for your needs.

Do you allow BGP sessions with your VPS plans?
Yes! We actually have a fully-automated BGP system. You can add your ASN, validate it by email, and attach the ASN to any VPS instances. Filters are automatically updated daily.
-
What are the limits on the BGP sessions?
You'll need to have a verified ASN attached to your account. You can then attach it to your VPS. We do NOT allow downstreams or AS-SET based filtering. Only a single ASN is allowed per server. You can have multiple ASNs on your account, but only a single ASN can be attached to each VPS instance. To use multiple ASNs, you'll need multiple VPS Instances.

How is IP Transit provided?
We offer IP transit via Wireguard tunnel that even works behind NAT/CG-NAT. We can provide both IPv4 + IPv6 transit. Costs are listed on the product details page.

How does DNS64 + NAT64 work?
If you are using an IPv6 only system (that is, it does not have access to IPv4), you can use our special DNS64 addresses for your DNS servers. The DNS results for requests to IPv4 only hosts will be replaced with an AAAA IPv6 record containing a proxied (NAT64) address. This allows IPv6 only devices to access the IPv4 only websites and services that exist out there.

What is the Tunnelbroker Service?
Believe it or not, there are still a lot of IPv4 ONLY Internet Providers out there - shame. But, for that we have a solution. We can provide you an IPv6 block over Wireguard, using your existing IPv4 connection as the connection layer. The IPv6 address we provide can then be used instead of IPv6 from your local provider. We do not filter incoming or outgoing traffic, so you can use it for servers, home use, etc. The choice is yours! Experienced users have gone so far as to set this up on their home routers and give IPv6 connectivity to their entire home or office. Note the Tunnelbroker Service comes with a /64 block of IPv6 addresses, not a single address. That means you can use multiple IP addresses for different purposes - so long as they all run through the same router that is connected to us by Wireguard. There are other providers of this service, but the difference between them and us? We use Wireguard - so it works even behind NAT or CGNAT. Restrictive ISP? No issue - this will give you direct IPv6 that is globally accessible. Need to manage servers from outside? It works for that too.
